Well, top-flight directors are still wanting to work with her. So I'd say she can still make a decent picture. Her acting rarely gets slammed, just her lifestyle and getting to the set on time.

It's not like Hollywood types of the past were going tot bed at 8 p.m. after a glass of warm milk, you know. I don't think they're any worse today than they were back in the day.

I mean, Vivian Leigh was a nympho who had men brought ot her house all the time. One actress, I think it was Rita Heyworth, had several abortions. It's just there is more focus on it now, with the Internat and E! ET and all those shows.

But for the record, I had the under on her getting to 21. Damnit!

What "top flight directors"? Her next movie is coming from the fine filmmaker who gave us "Toolbox Murders" and "All Cheerleaders Die"...and she's attached to a movie by the guy who gave us "This Girl's Life" -- a Skinemax quality flick about a porn actress (sigh, I watched it)
She's too much of a tabloid train wreck for any A-list director to work with...and there are too many good actresses in her age bracket who don't bring all that baggage to a movie (Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson, Kirsten Dunst, Keira Knightley)

She's a very good actress, but she's not exactly getting her pick of parts these days. She should be starring in films and drawing about $10 mil per picture. Instead, she has to "settle" for bit parts in ensemble pieces. There's certainly nothing wrong with that, but I want to see her in a movie where she's the star and it makes $60-$70 million...

She's talented enough that it can still happen. She's also fucked up enough that it might not...
