    Finally, season 2 of this BBC series airs in the U.S.

    Episodes 1 and 2 tonight, Dec. 11, at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. ET on BBC America ("encore" showings at 11 p.m. and midnight, ET).

    Overdue but well-timed, given the writers' strike here.

    I can only watch the Beeb shows through onDemand and I don't think Life on Mars is a choice, yet
