Life in a tiny NY apartment

    That is a very cool apartment.

    This would be a great pad for a Murphy bed.

    I feel so discriminated against. Apparently, if you live in an SRO (or "live"), you're just subhuman scum, not worth celebrating.

    I'm actually seriously looking into one of these (the Weebee model) for my future once my newspaper inevitably goes under and I'm out of career options. No joke.

    Being the misanthrope that I am, I'd have no problem with the space constrictions.

    Because it's on wheels, it's tax-free living if you can find a place to park it. Wastewater considerations are the only real hurdle, but people have done it. Also, it's possible to live in one on only solar power if you're in the right area of the country.
