Funny how your old paper's liberal biases only became a problem for you once you got laid off.

The agenda is NEVER irrelevant. Not in Journalism. You do understand that journalists continually poll among the least-trusted people in the US, don't you? Why do you think that is?

It wasn't people like me who made journalists the most untrusted people in America.

That hardly means journalists are incorrect.
It means both sides don't like hearing things that don't cater to their positions.

Journalism isn't always correct. Especially when a story is breaking.
But the push for truth, the constant digging for facts, is vital to our society.

Old Tony and YF find it convenient to ignore these things.

Newspapers and all American media outlets are owned by multibillion dollar corporations which push the corporatist agenda.

The majority of working journalists do have liberal educational and philosophical backgrounds, the result of superior education and intelligence.

But the marching orders are given by the billionaires who sign the checks. Very few -- almost no -- journalists have ever been in a professional or financial position to defy orders by corporate superiors. Those who do are quickly eliminated.

American media is dominated, manipulated and controlled by a de facto conspiracy of conservative billionaire corporatists. There is no "liberal media" -- it's a complete concoction.

"LOL" is the hallmark of any good right-wing education.
