HOLY CRAP! This looks EXACTLY like me when I was a kid! I was born in 1978, so I'm sure I didn't forget about some child modeling gig, but damn, this looks exactly like I did as a kid. This is friggin' creepy.

EDIT: I have to say, though, I never wore belts that big or my pants that high. Just wanted to clear that up.

I'm relatively certain I have vague memories of my mom and dad wearing matching outfits in 1977. I would certainly hope my brain isn't making that one up.

I can thankfully say my parents have never worn matching clothes.
Unfortunately, my mother did put gold velvet-and-foil wallpaper in our foyer. It was like she briefly became Italian.
I was worried she was going to start putting those plastic sheaths on the furniture.

Thanks Buck. That was funny. I was 9 in 1977. My mom dressed me in some doozy outfits. I have the pictures.

    AHHH THE 70's ...
That was great. A coworker was just talking around Xmas time about the crappy gifts his teacher father used to get when he was still at school, and we both laughed when we discussed the great Avon line of decorate colognes, like this one, for example ...

His dad had the golf clubs and a couple of car versions. My dad had this one and a cowboy boot I think. Great stuff.

I'd love one of these Oscar and Cookie Monster shirts. The kid doesn't seem too thrilled by it. He looks like he's holding in a big fart.
