    Ha! Suck it Buckweaver! :D

Rays up by 1 1/2 games and the Marlins are nipping on the Phillies' heels. Too bad small market teams can't compete.

The first time Tampa Bay and Florida keep all their stars, let me know.

Any team can hit the prearbitration lottery (that's what happened in 2003)... then again, it's only happened once.

All the hostility in here smacks of some pent-up sexual aggression. Do us all a favor, if there's a lemon party between you all, don't post photos.

Let's see, Longoria, Shields, Pena, Crawford, Kazmir, getting close on Upton, and more to come (Price, etc.) I think the Rays are pretty much set for a while.

GB, back to my last post on the original thread, what do you think about a lineup of Upton-Crawford-Longoria-Pena-DH to start and moving Iwamura down to provide more offense on the back end?

Thanks for pointing that out for me.

And Hanley Ramirez in Florida, too. Maybe the Marlins will try now, too.

Surely you don't believe the playing field is level? Teams such as the Yankees and Red Sox have a built-in advantage. Teams such as the Rays and Marlins have to be really lucky, and well as good, to reap the results. I'd much rather have a system like the NFL, where each team has an equal shot at winning.
