Dutch gym to introduce 'Naked Sunday'

A Dutch gym plans to introduce "Naked Sunday" for people who like to huff and puff in the buff.

Patrick de Man, owner of Fitworld gym in the town of Heteren, said he got the idea in part from two of his customers who are avid nudists.

Nude exercisers would be required to put towels down on weight machines and to use disposable seat covers while riding bikes. All machines would be cleaned and disinfected afterward. "We clean them every day anyway," he said.

HETEREN, Netherlands - A dozen middle-age and elderly men were game enough for a Dutch gym's invitation to work out nude. But they were vastly outnumbered by the dozens of journalists watching them lift, row and cycle in the buff.

I once looked through a coffee table book called "Russia" which, as you can suspect, showed giant pictures from Russia. Among those was a hedonistic snapshot from a bathhouse with dim, red lighting and sagging, naked bodies. So I can't say I'm that surprised by this naked gym.

Although, it's kind of become customary for naked old man and women to hang about the locker room with no clothes on and hold these lengthy discussions with their nude and elderly cohorts. So I gotta wonder about this nude gym - what do they do in the locker room? Actually wear clothes?
