Are there people anywhere who actually like Lena Dunham? She seems to be about the most universally reviled celebrity I can remember.

 

I can't stand her, but I don't think we're the demographic she's trying to reach.

 

Yeah, buy Jackie and her friends at UVa are already going to vote for Hillary. Who does she move the needle with?

 

That's exactly what I was thinking. What can possibly be the upside of parading this grotesque human around on the campaign trail?

 

Doesn't it kind of expose the bubble these people live in?

Who outside of this extreme liberal/feminist bubble thinks Lena Dunham has any kind of appeal to undecided democratic voters in Iowa?

 

That's why she fits the HRC campaign perfectly.

 

Maybe there's a conservative child molester Ted Cruz can take out on the campaign trail to even it up. A Catholic priest with a past, perhaps. Or Josh Duggar.

 

Dunham is the perfect surrogate for a candidate who's completely out of touch with young people and tries to relate to them using only what she can glean from out-of-touch publications like the New York Times.
