He lasted a lot longer than most Gawker editors., thought it seems many of them have left for the dying world of magazines.

I'm just sad Perry White didn't have TMZ reporting this via Deadspin.

    Enough of the 'we' garbage.

Say 'I accepted a new job' and take your hat.

    Assmunch.

There's the question, Inky, especially if the money is decent. Plus it won't cost you $15 a gallon to commute to your basement in pajamas.

    I'm sorry, that's a stereotype. Gas is $3.95.

I don't read everything in NY Mag as it is, so this doesn't bother me, just one more thing to skip.

  8. Why do bloggers always say "we"?

Leitch isn't the first one I've seen do it. It's pretty universal.

    I hate it.

Why do they do it? Is there some obvious reason I'm not seeing?

They want us to believe there's a vast army of researchers and editors crammed into mommy's basement.

I've seen it in newspaper columns as well.

  11. OK. Fine. Why does ANYBODY do it?

You've never heard of "the editorial 'we' "?
