Lee Radziwill Dies

    For a lot of people, this name will probably mean nothing. I was born in 1970 and vaguely knew about her. JFK's sister-in-law, close sister to Jackie and international socialite.

    Still, I know this sounds weird but it was surprising to hear she was still around. She was so much of her time and that time is so vanished that I simply assumed she passed on years ago.

    Well, Jackie would be 89 if she was alive today. She died at 64, still looking very young for her age, so the nation never got to see her as an elderly-grandmother type.

    Just as we'll never see JFK as a weathered grandfather.

    Lee Radziwill really didn't seek, or deserve, much public scrutiny her last several decades.
