Least likable television characters

Sure I'll be in the minority on this, but Sheldon of Big Bang Theory is the most annoying character on TV. I know that's the point of his character, but I can't even watch the show most of the time because of him.

Were we supposed to like Diane Chambers on Cheers? Or Frasier for that matter? Niles?

 

Potsie on Happy Days

 

Potsie was a dork/doofus.

Ralph Malph was more of an asshole.

 

Was thinking the same thing. But I cannot disparage the guy, just because I loved the name Ralph Malph!

 

And while we're at it ... Chachi!

 

It wasn't just the 70s hair in a 50s sitcom, or the gold chain, or the way he was supposed to be "cool" but still always needed Fonzie to get himself out of a jam, or that Joanie was into Potsie before she was in to him....what the hell was with the bandana he tied around his leg?

The douche also torched Arnold's.

I mean did the producers of Gilligan's Island try and sell Bob Denver as a teen idol?

Agreed.
It took a while for me to accept that the show really was desperately unfunny AND suffocated by unlikeable characters.

 

Oh yes. Where was Jeff Dahmer when we needed him?
