Latinas for McCain

    Toward the end of this six-minute piece, the reporter talks with an organizer who hopes to get Latinas to vote for McCain because Obama ruined the chance for a woman to be President in 2009.

    "You had your chance and you lost it. You know, do you want to support the candidate who took away your chance at the White House? Or do you want to support a candidate that has more qualifications to support the views you believe in?"

    Presumably, the utter incoherence of this line of non-thought requires no comment. As a reporter, I'm curious as to why this quote got selected for the story. Was it that damn lib'rul NPR trying to make Republicans sound stupid? Or was the whole interview full of similar absurdities? Wish I had the whole audio file.
