Latest salvo fired in S.B. News-Press mess

News-Press ran an A1 story Sunday saying child pornography was found on a computer that just happened to be used by the former top editor who set last summer's exodus in motion. Of course, it was a computer that many, many people had access to over the past few years and the authorities say there's no way of knowing who put what content in there.

The editor in question, Jerry Roberts, is understandably pissed.

This one will be sorted out in court. What a mess.

What a tool you have to be to have written that story.

I would love to see Jerry Roberts wind up owning the News-Press. Anybody who is still working there should be ashamed.

How could any of us avoid such an accusation... that is scary.
