    Was kind of thinking it would have been connected to one of the bodies Lake Mead coughed up recently that German may have written about at some point. Maybe in the Law and Order version.

    The suspect was not only a lousy public servant but terrible at covering up a murder. The media caught up to him at his house and he's wearing a hazmat suit!

    My first thought of this was "Damn, how tragic. Must've been random, a burglary."

    Then I thought, he's an investigative guy. A knife is quiet, other than the yelling (no gunshots). Maybe it was a hit.

    But this twist? Damn.
