At least it's for a good cause.

Can you get a receipt so you deduct the lap dances on your taxes as charitable contributions?

if you get something of value for your contribution i do believe only the amount above the value would be deductible.

So if you give your money to a fat chick - the whole thing is deductible?

No amount of charity could get me to endure a lap dance from some skanky bitch.

Why bring up the point that *maybe* some charity wouldn't take the money? I don't see how that worth mentioning. It reads like the reporters wanted to find someone who wouldn't accept it but couldn't, but still wanted to imply the donation was tainted in some way.

I just thought it was a weird thing to mention -- it wouldn't have even occurred to me -- and then not be able to back it up with someone supporting it.

A quote from a potential patron or dancer would have been more relevant. Maybe along the lines of "yeah, I've never done this before (cough cough) but since it's for a good cause..." or "maybe karma will kick in and I'll get better tips" or something.
