OK, so, Landis got caught. But what if you wouldn't get caught.
I know this thread has been discussed before, but what if you could take a drug that made you transform from an average writer at a 5,000 six-day afternoon paper, to a 350,000 daily stud. Would you do it and why or why not?
    Is it worth the risk?

Ask the baseball players of the past 20 years who've earned millions based on their performance, but won't ever be asked a question about it because Bonds, McGwire, Sosa and Raffy will serve as scapegoats for the rest of the league.

How is that any different from what a normal sportswriter looks like to begin with?

No. My integrity is worth more than a job at a major daily.

What are we imagining the differences are between a writer at a 5,000 k six day and a daily stud, exactly?
