L.A. Times reports it's Florida vs. Ohio State

    Must be nice to have an editor who will let you run with a story like that with only one source. How many other guys would be able to get that story online or in the paper with one source?

    Yeah, but it isn't like he was trying to tell an editor that the BCS Championship would be Ohio State vs. Boise State...when you have a solid, veteran guy, getting something on the record that's pretty much the conventional wisdom, it's a little different.

    Oh, no...look, I would be scared as hell to put something like that up. I would want at least one more off-the-record source -- unless I got the info from the BCS head himself.
