L.A. Times reports it's Florida vs. Ohio State

    This is a fascinating scoop.

    But let's say it's MICHIGAN and not Florida ... will there be an outcry similar to the one when the NYDN loudly claimed 'Joe Torre will be fired' a few weeks ago?

    It will depend on how many people find out about it. My guess is that it's probably right, though.

    I have no issue if those voters moved Florida ahead of Michigan IF they did it because they thought Florida was a better team.
    I'd be willing to bet that wasnt the case and those who did it, did so because they didnt want a rematch...

    NBC led the pregame show with it and ran it again at about quarter till 8; they credited the LAT each time they ran it. I suspect Collinsworth enjoyed that announcement for more than just the fact that his alma mater's in the "national championship" game.

    Considering Dusfrene spent approximately 3,957 columnar inches frenching Spurrier's colon during his tenure in Tallahassee, I'm not surprised.

    Um, UF is in Gainesville. It's Bobby Bowden's colon in Tally.....
