How quickly do you think those LSU fans put their tickets up on eBay?

So, did they break the embargo?

When FOX has the NFL doubleheader, my shop usually gets an e-mail from the BCS that isn't to be released until 7:30 p.m. or I guess 8 p.m. tonight because of the show.

Was there an e-mail today since it was the last one?

The info came from a source, not an official announcement.

Well that's good, let everyone know before the release show. I'm sure Fox is thrilled.

    Fuck Fox, who cares?

Who cares what Fox thinks? If the Times or anyone else has it from a reliable source, that's life.

The ones who bought them? Very quickly.

But most of the 42,000 or so you heard about made ticket requests, not purchases.

Not my point. I couldn't give a crap about Fox, but I'm sure they're thrilled their half hour show will now be watched by no-one. Nice job by the Times to get it, but when they're so secretive normally, I'm surprised someone spoke before the official announcement.

Plenty of people will still watch. It's a fucking bowl selection show. How many college football fans are there? The answer is tons. People will watch.

Most football fans are watching the NFL right now anyway, and not trawling the internets looking for scoops. Fox will do just fine, ratings-wise.
