Knight to be an analyst for ESPN

That was markvid. m-a-r-k-v-i-d. Not dooley. I ain't taking that rap.

 

The night Booby quit on his team, Digger was on the air, justifying it.
Even Rece Davis had this "you think we're buying this crap" look on his face.

 

Thinking of all the coaches/players who were a-holes to the media during their playing/coaching days ... only to join the media after retirement:

Sterling Sharpe
Bob Knight
Mike Ditka

Who else?

 

Holy crap, this board may run out of bandwith for all the responses to that.

 

Ron Morris took Dick Vitale (and in a way, Bob Knight) to task w/ his most recent column for Vitale continually saying Knight should be the next coach at SoCar.

Just sort of another interesting take after Bob Knight's announcement today.

 

Last I knew, Digger and Bobby did not exactly get along. I doubt they're going to mix real well on camera.

 

What's lost through Knight's madness is that he is one of the game's incredible minds, a person who can break down what 10 players are doing on the court as well as, or better than, anyone. He has much to offer in analysis and will be worth watching and listening to.

If Knight and Digger are on the same set, talking strategy, Digger is going to look like the idiot he is.
Knight is one of the great basketball minds ever.

Say what you want about his behavior but if you'd ever sat down and talked with him, you'd know the guy is very intelligent, and not just a great basketball mind.
