    What's Cruise's best movie?

I love the supporting roles in Magnolia and Tropic Thunder.

Lead role: I'd go with Jerry Maguire, Risky Business and Born on the 4th.

Best overall is probably Born on the 4th.

You should boycott 2 1/2 Men because it sucks. Same with 24.

My favorite Cruise roles were Jerry Maguire and Collateral, but I mainly dug Collateral because it was Michael Mann.

A Few Good Men's Daniel Kaffee is my favorite Cruise character of all time, hands down. Sarcastic, witty, funny, not entangled in some stupid chemistry-free romance. I actually think he's been slammed so much in recent years for his crazy opinions, he's become underrated as an actor. He's not Sean Penn or anything, but people always equate acting ability with dramatic ability. That's kind of a shame. Because Cruise does funny and snarky pretty well. Even though Sorkin's writing is what drives A Few Good Men, I'm not sure anyone could have nailed that part the way he did. Just the scene where he's hitting softballs and trading barbs with Demi Moore is a clinic in establishing his character's charisma.

Mr. Mapother has had some, ahem, work done. At first I thought it was a 30-something lookalike.

Best post of the year, in my estimation.

(couldn't find the scene on youtube, so here's Lorrie Morgan's video with him in it)

I saw this with a buddy tonight. Going to see this with another man may have been the gayest thing I've ever done. We could have made out and had sex afterwards and I would have felt less gay than sitting in a theater with another man to see this.

He didn't really see much of the movie, if you know what I mean...

What about "Losing it." He was pretty good in "Taps."

Oh and don't forget "All The Right Moves." "I should of had Rifleman fall on the ball."
