KISS drummer says he had breast cancer ...

    KISS drummer Peter Criss says he had breast cancer, something rarer for men, but still possible. Criss was treated and is cancer free. He is speaking out during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm one of several to knock KISS in the annual Rock n Roll Hall of Fame thread (and yeah, I know they're nominated this year), but I wish Criss all the best.

    Pretty rare for a man, but it just goes to show it happens.

    Cancer is not something new for KISS drummers. Eric Carr - KISS' drummer for most of the '80s - died of heart cancer in 1991.

    I'm glad Claws identified which KISS drummer was being discussed.

    Lot of choices there.

    Glad he's doing OK. Gene and Paul will still treat him like crap.

    My favorite Gene story is the one of him dropping Carr from the band's health insurance once he had to leave the band.

    A walking piece of shit, that guy. Paul is just an idiot. Gene is evil.

    I always found it weird that Anton Fig of Late Show fame was the drummer on the Dynasty and Unmasked albums.
