Kentucky horse racing track owner vows to shut down Ellis Park

    More hardball, at a point where the game can ill-afford such public posturing.

    Geary loves the game -- but made a bad, impulsive buy when he picked up the ol' peapatch.

    And again, the people who support the game -- the bettors, and the horse owners -- are the losers.

    Ah, Ellis Park, where I first went to the track. Lost a lot of $2 bets, drank a lot of $2 beer. Exciting as shit when your horse was in contention down the back stretch.

    I've driven by Ellis Park a million times, but have never been.

    Glad I didn't run the agate that was (strangely) sent to our shop today.
