OTR -- that was my exact first thought when I read the threadstarter

 

She finished like 7th the year she was on. Now, she's starring in the movie version of the Broadway play "Dreamgirls."

I think that was more in reference to Clay's fan base being filled with, shall we say, the pleasantly plump.

It is indeed what I was TRYING to do.

But the funny has apparently evaded me.

 

What's this American Idol show of which you speak? From season 1 until now I've probably only watched 10-15 minutes total... mostly from when the VCR clock was running fast and I wound up catching the last minute or so of American Idol before 24 came on.

 

I'm super-thrilled it's starting back up. the first four episodes of any year are the best.
