    More and more programs and applications are being touted.

    "USE THIS PROGRAM!" "USE THIS APP!" "YOUR WEBSITE NEEDS IT TO COMPETE IN JOURNALISM!"

    Blah. The New York Times "Snowfall" feature, which is as good as anything that will ever be done, is pretty much the template for these new media-driven projects. Just found this one today: Jux

    I like the premise but I'd rather have the middle column be for a blog and the outside columns a hub for all FB, tweets, G+, YouTube vids, etc.
