Charlotte Bobcats advertised giving away a free car for the last home game of the season against the Knicks, when the winner was announced at the game it was not a give away only a 1 year lease....of a Ford Focus

this tells you all you need to know about Bob Johnson's business philosophy, this franchise is doomed as long as he is making the decisions and I don't think Michael Jordan can convince him to open his wallet

If there was no fine print on the ad over the free car/lease deal, someone's going to court.

I would also sue if someone heaped a Ford Focus into my hands for 1-year.

I'm sure they had the fine print all covered.

And this has been done before. I think the Thrashers gave a one year car lease after every home win last year.

You mean all that's between us and Chris is a thin layer of gabberdine (sp?) ?

My first hought was that this thread had to do with the revelation of a certain NFL draft-entered wide receiver's marijuana use ...

Apparently, the only thing between him and us is a thin layer of gabardine.

I thought he was saying that his Johnson was too cool.
