John Mulaney Has Checked Into Rehab

Apparently had addictions to cocaine and alcohol. I know it's something of a showbiz trope that all the best comedians work from a place of deep pain, but I'm glad he's getting help because he's frigging funny.

"Horse in a Hospital" is as good a summation of the Trump era as I can think of.

 

All the best for a very funny man. A history of the best comedians would not be a very happy book.

 

Mulaney had drug/booze issues when he was younger. Such a funny/delightful guy.

 

In all fairness, working for a whack-a-doo like Seth Meyers would drive anyone to drink.

I remember reading about Mulaney hanging out with Davidson when he was struggling with things figuring "wow, that's so nice he'll be such a good influence on Pete." Boy was I wrong.
