I think what makes John Daly appealing is that despite his earnings most of us may never see, he goes through far too many day to day normal problems many of us regular people live through. Polar opposites from Phil "everything is perfect" Mickleson.

True. But golf players tend to portray themselves as having few problems. This guys shows up to the course with scratches on his face, smoking a stick from a pack of Marlboro's in the back of his golf pants as if nothing happened.

 

Sad. I wish he could get his life and demons under control, because he could be a great golfer.

 

Any woman who thinks she is a man should be put down. I know if John had hit her, he would have been jailed. The law is so unfair.

Yes, the law is unfair.
Even a bear hug can get you in trouble though. Get you branded a wife-beater or a violent-toward-women label.
