    Apropos of nothing, I was doing a paper for grad school on sports gambling, and my love thereof, and I was checking the spelling of Jurenovich's name and came upon his bio. As a long-time gambler, and sports fan, this guy is up there on my "buy a beer" list. How iconic was his call in the 90s? Especially when you were waiting for a score on the ticker, pre Internet. Man those were some frustrating days for gamblers, but ol' Jerome helped us through them.

    Actually, he's no longer with Altitude. He's back in Atlanta with SportSouth, doing Hawks and Thrashers pregame and postgame shows.

    Couldn't stand him on Headline News or FSN Radio. SportSouth hockey/basketball host? Saw him once. Not so bad.
