That's the equivalent of me calling you Tom Petty.

    Carry on.

    OK, that was funny.

Though Gues#t is clearly not Angola.

No way he was on the corner selling weed. 38 grams isn't a big deal. 1 1/3 oz of weed is probably two weeks of pot for him.

Gee, just what the guy needs. Someone enabling him.

This is a prime exhibit for something else the owners in all three major sports are going to impose in their Atilla the Hun contract dictations to the players in the next CBA: Pretty much unlimited authority to summarily terminate the contracts of players involved in repetitive criminal activity.

As in, "bam, zoom, you're done, no more money for you, and P.S., all the shit in your locker is in the dumpster parked outside of team headquarters."

I just read a bookreview in the Times yesterday -- a book called Scoreboard Baby - about the demise of Husky Football Stevens is primary character in book.

Maybe he was trying to help the authors promote the book

Enabling him? Hardly. Just pointing out what cops and the naive think are amounts intended to sell are actually the amount a guy like Stevens would likely smoke in a two week period.

The profit on 38 grams of weed won't buy you a plasma tv.

It's still illegal, right? That makes it a big deal.

And if he is smoking $500 bucks in weed every two weeks, that is over $20,000 a year.

I don't think Pancamo is saying it's no big deal. I think he's just correctly pointing out that Stevens was unlikely hitting the street corner to sell pot.
And if an ounce of week is now $500, then pricing has skyrocketed in the last decade.
