I've never been a fan, but the best tagline was 'Double the Van Damage.'

I remember remarking to my brother when Double Impact came out, "He's not a good enough actor to play ONE person, let alone two."

Bloodsport was great. In a weird bit of circular cause and effect, we probably wouldn't have the Street Fighter 2 video game without it, which means Van Damme wouldn't have been in the Street Fighter movie. Spooky.

    Very meta. :D

I'm not ashamed to admit I loved Bloodsport, Kickboxer and Cyborg. And, yes, he had to have been the inspiration for Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat.

If I ranked my three favorite movies from Van Damme it would probably look like this:

    -Kickboxer
    -Bloodsport
    -Hart Target

I thoroughly enjoyed Kickboxer and Bloodsport. Hard Target was pretty good as well.

Guilty pleasures: Lionheart, Double Impact, Timecop, Nowhere to Run, Death Warrant, Cyborg

Didn't care for: Universal Soldier (loved the beginning, hated the rest of the movie); Everything from Street Fighter to JCVD, admittedly, I have not seen all of them, but this would include The Quest, Maximum Risk, Sudden Death, Double Team...

In college, aside from Star Wars, Godfather and Bond films, the movies we watched the most often would have been:

    Point Break
    Double Impact
    UHF
    Top Secret
