Neifi Perez gets close to $1 million for that every season.

    I agree.

But Drew will hit .310 with 25 HRs

No question, with this kind of spending on Drew, they should have kept Damon. Drew is every bit as likely to fall apart physically as Damon and he hasn't been nearly as consistent.

I agree that this only makes some sense if they keep Manny. Put Lugo in front of Ortiz and Ramirez with Drew behind them and this is a much improved lineup.

How 'bout some of you folks let the moderators be the moderators and quit scolding people for what they post?

Rumor now is the Sox are trying to get Cordero from the Nats. They better get a fucking bundle in return and I don't mean J.D. Drew.

Well you dumbass they can't trade Drew right after signing him! :D

I dunno. Frank worked chief pretty hard. Selling high on him might not be the worst thing Jim Bowden's ever done.

    Bowden covets Wily Mo.

Wouldn't Pena drive Nats fans insane with his all-or-nothing hitting and defense that made Soriano look like Willie Mays?

He better get more than Wily Mo for Chief.

No argument. I just know Jimmy Bow loves him.

I heard J.J. Putz as part of the Manny talks, but that was earlier today. Obviously, a lot has happened since then.
