Jay Horwitz out for season

    Mets spokesman Jay Horwitz broke his ankle Thursday in a fall outside a hotel. Spokeswoman Shannon Forde said Horwitz, with the Mets since 1980, will have surgery Monday.

    The NIAFL will send a card. Perhaps.

    Best news: The Mets have three weeks to realize that Jay doesn't do a single fucking thing. His worst nightmare come to life. This is why he never misses work: Not b/c he has no life (which he doesn't) but b/c being there everyday doesn't give anyone time to figure out how fucking useless he is.

    In NY tonight. Bruce Beck did a story on this on the NBC news after the football game. I really like Bruce, he's a great guy and very helpful to me when I was new, but as he was yukking it up and showing the spring training video, I thought of BYH steaming.
