Kudos for not missing Rolling Stone. But these songs changed the world in how they acted, thought, dressed, etc. For better or worse in some cases. But I myself wouldn;t chosen some of those songs. But like the Walk This Way remix, it got more white kids into rap and changed the culture forever. I could make an argument about most of those songs, especially the early stuff with Elvis and Chuck berry. I wasn't alive then, but have read about and watched so much on the impact it had on the world.

Now changing the world is a bit of a statement, but I guess in their own way, those songs did.

And the last line was a throwaway. But disco does still suck, but it did change the world, even if for a short time.

And I was just joking about the lesson.

I will say that I am now getting closer and closer to my parents in knowledge of pop culture as a result, however. Still don't miss it.
