    And get four twenties back!.

A change machine in a Regina casino was loaded with twenty dollar bills instead of fives.

Staff at Casino Regina are trying to get back money from rogue gamblers who took advantage of a misloaded change-making machine that mistakenly gave out $20 bills instead of fives.

By the time the glitch was noticed, baby could afford a lot more than a new pair of shoes. A total of $27,500 had been snatched up by opportunistic players.

    and

It took nearly two days before an honest person stumbled upon the mistake and reported it to staff. During that time, a "vast" number of people used the machine repeatedly because they knew it was paying off, Klyne said. One person collected $11,000. That would mean more than 180 trips.

I'm dumbfounded the buzz didn't reach the suits.

    That's oblivious management, right there.

Wouldn't be surprised at an inside job, either.

How many of those people do you think wound up giving it all back to the house?

If $27K was all they lost, it had to be Canada. Good honest folk.

A mistake like that in the Oklahoma casinos and the change maker is empty in 15 minutes.

If it was me, I'd probably run out of there like Kramer after Newman goes zipping by in the Rickshaw...

I imagine there are video cameras everywhere so it's not like they couldn' track the people down.

Besides, it's Regina for God's sake. Everyone is related anyway. :)

I worked at a hotel a while ago, and the Pepsi machine was spitting out four sodas for the price of one. So what did this asshole do? I filled my bookbag full of 20 20-ounce Pepsis, tucked the bag in the back of the closet and hauled it out to my car at the end of the shift. If the Pepsi machine was giving out 20s, I probably wouldn't have even finished the shift.
