    If you haven't used the card since April, the account could have been closed. That happened to me. My "emergency" card... the one that stayed in the back of my wallet only to be used in case of a car breakdown or emergency flight home... Got a letter out of the blue stating that due to six months of inactivity, the card was closed and I was free to reapply.

    That's what I was thinking. If the card is close to expiring, they might have sent you a new one. When you do get a new one, you always get a new security code with it.

    Sounds like a good reason to stop using iTunes and start using Bittorrent.

    Thing is, the card doesn't expire for two years. It isn't a credit card, just a debit card.

    And wouldn't they have sent a letter or something about owing money?
