Probably didn't want a protest outside the courthouse.

You forgot competitive bird calling and log rolling in the early days.

Cheerleading is an activity. Sometimes a strenuous activity, but that's it. If cheerleaders are such good athletes that its parents believe it's a sport, maybe their daughters need to try volleyball or field hockey.

I think it's interesting too, that the CEO of Varsity, Inc., testified in the case, and also said cheerleading was an "activity." No way would the head of the biggest player in the cheerleading business want to see it be sanctioned as a sport.

Because if it's truly an competitive college sport, then Varsity, Inc., would lose control to the NCAA.

Nothing that occurs on the sidelines of another sport is a sport.

Will Ferrell is going to be devastated over this.

Quinnipiac is going to add golf and rugby to its women's sports.

    Rugby? How common is that?

I guess that it must be more common on the coasts.

    Amen!

"We're here at the FedEx Orange Bowl for the BCS Cheerleading Championship. There's a time out. Let's cut to the football game resuming on the sidelines. Whoa, Nelly, there's a honey!"

And I didn't think it was necessary to use sarcasm font on my earlier post btw.
