'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' won't air on broadcast TV this year

 

Good.

It's the worst of the Charlie Brown specials. Except for the Thanksgiving one

Time to bring back 'Garfield's Halloween Adventure,' which was 10 times better.

 

That was nightmare fuel for children in 1985.

 

Binky the Clown still terrifies me. My daughter is nine, so air anything that is not Hocus Pocus.

 

I prefer Blinky, the Three-Eyed Fish.

 

I'm so, so angry about this.

I've watched those specials every year with my now 11-year-old. It's one of our traditions. I've watched them for decades before that too. I don't want to have to sign up for Apple+ to do that.

 

I fear Blinky, the one-eyed Jeffrey Toobin Zoom Snake.

 

I believe the Apple+ deal covers all the traditional holiday specials including Christmas, but I'd have to go back and check the story I read this morning.

 

I have no idea why they have it set up like this, but it is there. Maybe that will do in a pinch.
