    A simpleton's argument.

I knew you were a deep thinker when I read your First Amendment comment on the Dungy thread.

The same book of laws also called for stoning for those who did not observer the Sabbath, allowed polygamy and allowed a man to sell his daughter into slavery if she was disobedient (with the tacit admission that slavery was condoned). Hard to imagine God inspiring any of that. Sounds like some power-hungry men wanted draconian measures to keep people in line and in fear.
Also, the gay-bashers cherry-pick the verses in Leviticus involving homosexuality but conveniently ignore those laws that not only called for the death penalty, but the death penalty for minor offenses.

Gaza and the West Bank is nothing to Islam but a land acquisition to squeeze Israel into oblivion. Israel could have used its air arsenal and powdered the entire Gaza strip, but it's instead choosing to shed its blood and do it the hard way.

Gimme a friggin break. Characterizing Gaza and the West Bank as a "land acquisition" by Palestinians/Islam is such a dumb perversion of actual history. More like those are the only areas the palestinians have left after nearly a century of Israel's non-consensual "land acquisitions" from them.

Yeah. I mean, besides Jordan. And the Sinai Peninsula. Not that Jordan or Egypt wants to let them assimilate into their countries.

Funny how the very people who rant and rave on the poor people of Hamas' behalf fail to understand that these are also people who would vehemently disagree with certain social liberalism this country holds near and dear. Yet Israel has Tel Aviv, one of the most socially liberal cities on earth. Yet Islam's purpose is to eliminate Israel totally, you know, for getting land beginning in 1948, even though there's history that suggests Israel had land.

    1. This is one seriously incoherent and poorly written paragraph.
    2. Nobody here has "ranted and raved" on "Hamas' behalf."
    3. Nobody here has any illusions about Hamas' political views.
    4. Islam's "purpose" is not to eliminate the state of Israel.
    5. You're an idiot.

Shut it down. One shot from one side of the fence that was personal: No lock.

The other side of the fence responds........
