    Some team needs to hire Paul Westphal as a head coach, again . . . that'd juice up the league . . . entertaining up-and-down ball . . .

    But seriously ... I remember when you had to score 90 points in three quarters just to be in the game. It's starting to get back there, but not quick enough for my tastes.

    And so long as enough guys have that packed in their memory banks, it'll never be Western Conference Freestyle, ever again.

    I thought Allan Houston's incredible bounce at the buzzer to eliminate Miami and Larry Johnson's improbable 4-point play with five seconds left in Game 3 against Indiana can be considered "magical" playoff moments in Knick lore.
