Is there a Pulitzer for heroism?

    Talk about an old f'n stud.
    Former San Francisco Chronicle photographer Kim Komenich (a Pulitzer Prize winner) thwarted a bank robbery attempt Monday in San Jose by bear hugging the suspect. He overheard the guy demanding money, walked up behind and grabbed him when he put his hand in his pocket.
    As if that wasn't cool enough, he was still on time to teach his class at San Jose State.

    I worked with a shooter in Nashville, a former cop, who was always strapped. He woulda stepped up behind the guy and, bada-bing!
