He was my first thought. Last I heard, he was coaching hockey somewhere in Asia. Seriously.

 

I think Sea Change actually beats Odelay and Mellow Gold as my favorite Beck album. What I was always so impressed with about Beck was that he essentially switched genres for every album. I can't think of an artist whose albums are more distinctive, except maybe Bjork.

 

I just can't imagine any rational music fan (taking Wahoo out by caveat) thinking he's not a hall-of-famer.

 

Luckily, you don't have to imagine. That's why we have this board: to prove most people aren't rational music fans (and are racist).

 

Wahoo is the source of the greatest post in the history of this online community, through multiple incarnations.
But he's beyond reason on some topics, including music.
We accept that. We still love and admire him.
