Iraq, four years later

    Fruit, flowers, or appliances to the good folk of Iraq?

    (Note: Fourth-anniversary gifts, ICYWW.)

    Appliances only work 2 hours a day there max BC of spotty power. Flowers wilt in the desert sun, and the only fruits that will grow there are dates.

    There was a very disturbing documentary on CBC last night.

    "The Ground Truth: the Human Cost of War" is a gutwrenching documentary by Patricia Foulkrod about young American soldiers at war. Worst part of it is how horribly they were treated by their government on their return
