Yeah, that's the only reason we think he's crazy/evil.

    Both and why... be specific...

It is intentional; a guise to come off as clever.

  3. Let's see.
Farrakhan is a marginalized figure with no perceptible influence in the culture at large, and Obama's pastor's daughter's magazine gave him an award and for THAT, Obama has to say the right verbs in front of Mulch-for-brains Punkinhead.
Hagee oversees a vast evangelical empire, is every bit as nutty, and McCain happily takes his support.
I hate to think what the real difference might be.

Why does every single person pretend like their endorsement matters? Who even heard of this clown before today?

    Why did Farrakhan's endorsement matter?

It doesn't. Another "Who gives a shit" moment.

  7. Because he's the evilest evil man in the history of evil.
    That's why.

... that was made larger by the Republican Party which seems to care about such things...

    Then that's their stupidity.

This makes sense. I was having a rough spell the other day, and I prayed to Jesus for an answer.

"When will You return?" I asked Him.

"When you bomb the shit out of Iran, my son," He replied.

Admittedly, it sounds better in the King James version.

So if we bomb the shit out of Iran, I get to use a quote lede again?
Many, many years ago, I led a story with a quote. My editor, whom I revered, explained to me that quote ledes were the easy way out, that you could at least set up the quote, etc.
"The only quote lede I ever want to see," he told me, "is the one that goes, 'I'm back,' Jesus said."
So I haven't written one since.
