I've seen Canada from its most eastern point to its most western point. Been through the New England states, to Seattle and New Mexico.
All those places on the other side of the world sound great but I've seen Canada and I know there's nowhere more beautiful on earth.

I think you're right about that. We took a family vacation somewhere every summer until I was well into high school. Never took an international trip but we saw most of the United States. I'm pretty sure that's where my traveling jones comes from.

    Um...no.

I've been to Canada twice, and stopped in like 10 states. That's it. That's the list.

    In the past 5 years:

    London (twice)
Holland (Amsterdam - twice, Rotterdam and Utrecht)
    Bahamas - 3 times
    USVI
    Puerto Rico

And if hadn't been for 9/11, I could have added Paris to that list (I've been there before, but not recently).

JR - I'm super jealous.  I've been wanting to go to Cuba since I was about 12.  I can't explain why.  Maybe it's the old cars.  I'm too chicken to go there via Jamaica or Canada, but I hope to be on one of the first planes over when they lift the embargo.

I'm also dying to go to Japan.

  8. France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Morocco, Great Britain (England, Scotland, Wales), Ireland

Mostly done during college study-abroad programs.

All those places I visited courtesy of Uncle Sam and some really, really big grey ships.

Hoops, You were a military brat? Or just a detainee? 8)

National Guard send me to Germany for two-week annual training. Labor Day weekend was middle weekend. Tax dollars hard at work. That was 20 years ago. I'd love to go back.
