Update: Man and woman, who were heavily armed, are being detained.

Doesn't sound like Bonnie and Clyde. They were arrested after stopping at the gate, not being able to provide ID. They really thought this one through, if their goal was nefarious.

 

The stupid is strong with these ones, whatever their religious/ethnic background turns out to be.

Entering a U.S. military base in a heavily-armed vehicle is probably one of the surest ways in the world to get shot/blown to little bitty bitty pieces.

 

John Winger and Russell Zisky entered a Russian military base (in Czechoslovakia) in a heavily armed recreational vehicle and kicked ass!

GUTS! - Zisky Rates the Russians - "They're Pussies!"

 

They are thrillseekers. Its in their DNA. Who are you to deny their love for life?

 

They took it to get it washed.

 

Defense Dept has posted picture of the couple.

Their logic:
"C'mon, it's MacDill AFB. We zip in, we pick 'em up, we zip right out again. We're not going to the Pentagon. It's MacDill AFB. It's like going into Wisconsin."

 

Several reports on Google say the two presented fake IDs to try and get on the base.

Wasn't sure how an article could be both vague & shed light on the story, but that about describes it.

A well armed Army deserter? I wouldn't think he had good intentions.

Thank God they were stopped at the gate.
