Every story I see about LSU lady hoopsters it mentions that their head coach resiged due to "improper conduct with student atlete". There is never any further expanation. It just seems like story begs for more. Was it a recruiting violation? Did she give the player money?

AS LSU moves to final 8 with interum coach it seems like this will become a bigger story.

I think Boom is trying to goad one of us into posting a smartass remark about tearing up carpet.

    Oooops ....

No - I have no clue. No stories offer any explanation.

I think it involved a game of Duck, Duck, Goose.

    Here are more clues:

    Pokey rides a Harley.
    Pokey's never been married.
Pokey's never been seen on campus holding hands with a man.
Pokey had her name legally changed from Dana to Pokey (I don't know what this means, but it's a fun piece of trivia I felt like sharing).
Pokey had a special relationship with a player (in a previous season, not this one).
Pokey's lifestyle wasn't of much concern to LSU officials until she brought it into the coach-player, teacher-pupil relationship.
Pokey is no longer coaching at LSU.

Would that carpet be shag, deep pile, indoor-outdoor or berber?

Is it bigger than a bread box?

Was it a box in a box?

    Sorry. Still not getting it.

Of course, I also once asked out a lesbian coworker whose blond roommate would bring lunch to her every day.

Wow. And I thought sports reporters are naturally supposed to possess dirty minds.

    Boom is not a reporter.

It was a big story when it broke a couple of weeks before the tournament.
