I'm that much closer to getting out

I took my GRE today, getting what I think is a decent score (1210).

The level of ecstasy I felt walking out of the testing center after having seen my score is nearly immeasurable.

I will no longer have to accept putting out a bad product. I won't have to watch as the product is gutted. I won't get told do more with less when it's obvious that isn't possible. Hopefully, I won't have to endure pay cuts or raise freezes any longer either.

Since making the decision to go back to school, my stress level has dropped and I'm a much easier person to be around.

In seven months, I'm done with this crap ass industry, and I seriously doubt I'll miss it.

Graduate record exam or something along those lines. It's the test for grad school, unless you're going for a professional degree (law, medicine, business).

And bud, it's one of two things, depending on which schools accept me. If I get into Maryland, it'll be historic preservation. If it's elsewhere, it'll be public policy.

Historic preservation... sounds interesting. You'll be like that hot Abigail (I can't remember the actress' name) from the National Treasure movies.
