    "(The Mets) welcomed me into their home, and homes go through renovations. I’m the hardwood floor that’s getting ripped out and they’re going to replace it with Tuscany tile. This is a team that’s underachieved, and it will get back on track. I walk out in peace.”

    You should have heard the rest of his "I believe in Eastern philosophy" speech and his explanation of the bracelet he wears.
    I'm still waiting for a translation.
    No wonder Ollie Perez never understood a word he said.

    Except when newspapers downsize they won't replace the floor and will stick with the plain concrete or plywood.
