I'll second or third Fort Erie, a great little track. Best ripper bar action is either in the Falls - Sundowner - or Private Eyes in Niagara-On-The Lake. Or so I've heard.

"Swing that sh_t wide open! F_ck yeah!"

And he wasn't talking about the door to the place. ;D ;D ;D
(It's been nice knowing you guys ... Wick's gonna kill me)

All the recommendations on the Toronto side sound good. My stepfather grew up 30 miles east of Buffalo, and from the sound of things, all the highlights there have been discussed. ;D

There may be worse places than Batavia, but not many.

Good guess, but you need wooden shoes as a guide ...

My advice to you: more Toronto, less Buffalo.

Unless, that is, you're going on an introspective spiritual journey that could result in you ending your life. In which case, reverse the above equation.

Wow, Holland? About 8 miles from my old stomping grounds.

I second this nonendorsement of the Anchor Bar. It blows. Go to Gabriel's Gate on Allen Street instead (I hope it's still there, it's been a few years).

The Buffalo Brew Pub was a great spot for micro brew and wings back in the day.

PROBABLY want to label that as NSFW. Since it's an escort site.

There you go. Stranger still, there was a soccer coach I covered at a previous paper who was from there.
